Founding partner at HBD-T Law Firm/Beirut and lecturer on Fiscal Law and Public Finance at Saint Joseph University in Beirut (USJ). Graduated in French Law from University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (double Master in Business Law & Taxation) as well as in Lebanese Law from Saint Joseph University of Beirut (post graduate diploma in Private Law). He also holds an executive diploma in finance from ESA school of Business in Beirut (ESCP/EAP). Karim Daher is specialized in taxation and has been working on complex restructurings and estate planning including family constitutions. He has been heavily involved in legislative commissions for the modernization of the Lebanese fiscal and commercial legislations and proposed several bills in connection therewith. He has published a comprehensive book on taxes in Lebanon “Les impôts au Liban”. He is also familiar with a wide range of other commercial and legal matters including acquisitions, commercial contracts and transactions, securitization and microfinance, liquidations, joint-ventures and trusts, pre-bidding and tenders, media and advertising, telecommunication and internet, Jewelry, real estate and insurance, etc.
